“GET OUT OF MY ROOM” Promo

Production Company: Mixtape Club LLC.

The Objective: Create on air promo for Universal Kids new TV series, GET OUT OF MY ROOM

The Challenge: Develop a look for the show’s preliminary brand package promos. At this early stage of the show development, the network has not fully developed the show packaging designs but needed to begin on air promos.

The Solution: I wanted to capture teenage aesthetics into a blue print a kid might make. Stickers and photo cutouts in a stop-motion style animation drove the visual story, topped with a final special moment of hyper realistic candy being dropped onto the table. Since this is a live action series, I wanted the look of the promo to have a real world feel. The blueprint is likely on a desk with things you might find on a child’s desk like pencils, erasers, and headphones. The erase on the back of a pencil comes into to “edit” the blueprint. I got my vision clearly expressed with the team I assembled and together, we delivered the final promo to happy clients on time.
