Brand: UiPath

“Foundation of Innovation”

Client: Table of Content

Production Company: Bunko Studios Inc.

The Objective: Utilize illustrations provided by the award-winning Illustrator, John Colquhoun, and create branded animation for the UiPath.

The Challenge: Restricted timeline of just 3 weeks to deliver the final animation from receipt of panel illustrations. Create depth and create dynamic moments to the 2D illustration style while staying true the original designs.

The Solution: With no time for R&D in the 3 week production schedule, I relied on my past experience of utilizing 3D animation for 2D styles to allow animators to add have more dynamic flexibility. I decided what moments / assets would best benefit from utilizing 3D techniques. It added speed to production, while adding adding Z space to push animation further to add depth. Using a mixture of drawn elements along with 3D elements, I was able to add special dynamic moments to elevate quality of production while tightening up the workflow to delivery final animation on time and on budget. The success of the first Uipath video we delivered resulted in many more.
